Hello and goodbye
With NBM2022 Rome approaching in a rapid pace, we want to share with you some changes in the composition of the NBM board. We are very happy to inform you that Maya Hoveskog of Halmstad University (Sweden), host to NBM2021 Halmstad, will join the NBM board. Maya Hoveskog is an Associate Professor in Innovation Management.
In her research, Maya focuses on innovation processes with special interest in sustainability-oriented business model innovation and value creation as well as teaching and learning in higher education. She has particular interest in visualization tools and approaches to support the early phases of the innovation process. She collaborates with colleagues from various disciplines (e.g., environmental studies, design studies, informatics, humanities).
After having been a familiar face to the NBM board, Nikolay Dentchev of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) leaves the board for work-related reasons. Nikolay has been actively involved with the NBM conferences from the start. He hosted NBM2018 Sofia and has been the chair of the track on Social Entrepreneurship.
Nikolay has contributed greatly to the development of the NBM Conference Series in the past six years, and we thank him sincerely for his support and input in building up the conference organisation as it stands now. Nikolay’s involvement in NBM will not stop though, as he agreed to serve as an advisory board member and he will continue to support the track on Social Entrepreneurship.
