Maya Hoveskog

Maya Hoveskog is an Associate Professor in Innovation Management at Halmstad University. Maya Hoveskog’s PhD was awarded from Rousse University, Bulgaria in 2009. She has more than 10 years education experience on bachelor and master level. In her research Maya focuses on innovation processes with special interest in sustainability-oriented business model innovation and value creation as well as teaching and learning in higher education in collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines (e.g. environmental studies, design studies). She has co-authored over 50 different articles/book chapters/conference papers. Some of which are published in Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Sustainability Science, and Industrial Marketing Management. Maya is an individual endorserer of Responsible Research in Business & Management Network. Maya is also a member of the Flourishing Enterprise Institute Advisory Committee – an emerging global initiative for knowledge mobilization on sustainability
and enterprises.

Fawzi Halila

Dr. Fawzi Halila is an Associate professor in industrial management with focus on innovation and product development at Halmstad University, Sweden. He graduated with an MSc degree in Civil Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH) and on the Licentiate and Doctoral level in Industrial Organization at Luleå University (LTU), Sweden. Fawzi Halila has been working at Halmstad University as researcher and teacher since 1998. His dissertation was oriented towards diffusion and adoption of environmental innovation. The general research area of interest is innovation, more particularly the New Business Model Innovation for Sustainability. He has in total produced more than 50 publications (articles, conference proceedings and book chapters). In addition, he has extensive experience in research and development (R&D) projects related to sustainability such as water treatment processes, construction, wind power, Cleantech, E-health industries and smart cities and communities.
