Collaboration challenge
Rising health challenges—from aging populations to mental health and environmental risks—require rethinking how value is created in health systems. New business models may enable more inclusive, sustainable, and preventive approaches. During this track, you collaborate with other NBM2027 participants to explore how new business models can build healthier societies across organisational, sectoral, and system levels and develop a research idea that you can jointly execute.
Application procedure
If you want to join this collaboration track to develop a new research idea in collaboration with other attendees of the NBM2027 Conference, please submit a practical challenge and/or a short research idea (max. 300 words) along with a description of what you can bring to the table along a collaborative research project for a healthy world (max. 300 words) by February 1, 2027, through the submission system (ConfTool).

Collaboration challenge
Resource depletion and environmental pressures demand a shift in how value is created across production and consumption systems. New business models support circular and regenerative approaches by reducing waste, extending product lifecycles, and closing material loops. During this track, you collaborate with other NBM2027 participants to explore how new business models can align economic performance with environmental sustainability across organisational, sectoral, and system levels and develop a research idea that you can jointly execute.
